On our trip to Utah I had the pleasure of spending a lot of time in Heather's kitchen. What a treat! One of my favorite memories is stepping into her kitchen while she was preparing for a family trip. She had just removed some homemade granola bars from the oven. Covering the counters were pans of fluffy bagels rising and other yeasted items. She reminded me of a magician performing amazing raising acts. Heather can get yeast to do amazing things. And then there were the many yummy dishes she prepared for us--using whole grains, things she had canned, and garden produce! When Heather writes about preparing healthful foods for a healthy food, she knows what she's talking about--she practices what she preaches. I learn tons of new things whenever I talk to her. And then there were those amazing chocolate chip cookies made with Wonder Flour. Oh my!
Aw, thanks Mom! ;) Love ya.
